The Design & Remodel
We completed our latest remodel with a major celebration! We just wrapped up a stunning kitchen remodel for incredible clients near the heart of Downtown Summerville. This gorgeous, custom kitchen now blends modern functionality with timeless charm, and we could not be happier with the result!
The original kitchen felt a congested and a bit lackluster, but it held so much potential! Our new design focused on reimagining an open, airy, and bright space. We met and exceeded our goal of maximizing every square inch to create a high-functioning, beautiful kitchen.
A great design is only as good as its execution. Our team of master craftsmen, in collaboration with our skilled electrician and plumber partners, poured their expertise into every detail of this home to truly bring this vision to life!
By removing the dated peninsula and a non-load-bearing wall, we completely transformed this layout into an airy, light-filled space that allows the entire home to breathe. The wall removal was a pivot from our original design, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise! Our team’s design boasts a sophisticated two-tone aesthetic: Shaker “Designer White” upper cabinetry and Brooklyn “Fawn” on the lower cabinets. A stunning central island anchors the space, featuring premium “Sienna Gold” Quartz countertops that match the rest of the new countertops and an inviting seating overhang. To elevate the space further, we integrated a custom diagonal herringbone “La Belle Purity” brick-textured backsplash and high-tech touches like hide-away outlets with built-in wireless charging. Matte Black hardware, a Matte Black Kraus Bolden Commercial style faucet, and a Stainless Steel KRAUS kore workstation undermount sink perfectly complement the pendant lighting above the new kitchen island and above the kitchen sink. Additional canless lights were also installed to really brighten up the new space. A custom coffee bar in the dining area extends the kitchen’s footprint beautifully. We tied the whole transformation together with a full sand-and-refinish of the hardwoods (including repairs and installation where needed), fresh crown molding, and a final coat of Sherwin Williams “Sweet Innocence” paint for a truly polished finish.
While we are absolutely in love with how this transformation turned out, seeing our clients’ joy is the ultimate reward.
